attack mode racing helmet
a futuristic racing helmet, designed for a distant future, where speeds regularly reach 300 mph.
the face visor takes design cues from airplane windows, with on the fly glass dimming and polarization - to adapt for changing weather conditions and increased visibilty. all attack mode helmets are equiped with a heads-up display, because who wouldn't want to feel like iron man?
THIS WAS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT MODELLING A HIGHPOLY MODEL. hIGHPOLY MODELS ARE MUCH MORE COMPLEX THAN LOWPOLY MODELS, BUT YIELD BETTER RESULTS AND ARE ULTIMATELY MORE DETAILED. THIS WAS A 24 HOUR CHALLENGE, WITH THE MODELLING OF THE HELMET TAKING JUST OVER 3 HOURS TO COMPLETE.
nasa graphics and other airline logos are prominent on the helmet because the wearer would be "flying" around the racetrack.
DESIGNED IN BLENDER
DEVELOPMENT TIME - 6 HOURS
